Q:  What promotional services do you offer for authors and publishers?  How much do they cost?
A:  We offer a wide variety of services.  Cost depends on the amount of exposure you want for your book, and for how long.  See our Authors & Publishers page, and feel free to Contact Us to discuss your needs. 

Q:  What assurance will I have that sales of my book will increase as a result of your promoting my book?
A:  It’s up to the book-buying public as to whether they purchase your book.  With 172,000 trade books published in the U.S. last year (2006), we presume your biggest sales hurdle is to get your book into the hands of book buyers.  We can’t do that, but we can get your Chapter 1 into the hands of thousands of potential book buyers, by making it available to all who visit this Web site.

Q:  How long will it take to get my Chapter 1 on your Web site?
A:  We try to add new Chapter 1s as quickly as possible.  Typically, it takes two weeks from the time we receive your book(s) and Limited License Grant until your Chapter 1 appears on our Web site, and we commence promotional activities on your behalf.

Q:  What makes eChapterOne any better than any other eBook retailer?
A:  We don’t just sell books; we actively promote them to potential book buyers around the world!  There are approximately 4,000,000 expatriate Americans living abroad (most are business people, military and their families – readers), and millions of English-speaking readers scattered across the globe with few English-language bookstores available outside North America and the U.K.  We promote quality books to this large market segment that is extremely difficult for individual publishers and authors to reach.

Q:  How can eChapterOne sell books any better than I can sell them on my, or my publisher’s, Web site?
A:  An eBook hidden inside an unknown Web site is no more visible to a potential buyer than a print book hidden on a back shelf in a bricks-and-mortar bookstore.  eChapterOne will have a larger audience.
